Chocolate Chip Cookies

First we bought the ingredients at our local grocery store.
We didn't have an adapter for the mixer plug so Deanne mixed the dough in the bathroom.
Then to the kitchen to put the cookies in the oven.

We didn't have a cooling rack so Deanne got creative and used the dish draining rack which is in the cupboard above the sink.
 The final product.
And I took care of dipping the cookies in milk and eating them.  Oh so good.

More shots of our apartment

 Our balcony
 Dining room
And our very comfy bed.

Our Car

This is our mission car.  It is an Opel and it gets us where we need to go.  Deanne sometimes has to close her eyes while I am driving but as they say "When in Rome, do as the Romans do."

GELATO at last

We finally had our first Italian ice cream and WOW was it good.

Ravenna Mosaics

There are two very old churches in Ravenna, which is about 30 minutes from Forli.  They were built in about 400 and 500 B.C.  The ceilings and walls have beautiful mosaic depictions of Christ, the Apostles, and Prophets from the Old Testament.

Elder and Sister Arbogast are going to the Italy Milan Mission to be assigned to the military base in Vicenza.
Tonight Elder and Sister Bednar spoke at the MTC Devotional.  Elder Bednar taught us how he studies the conference talks and the scriptures.  Identify doctrine and principles, invitations and promised blessings.  Sorella Jefferies is putting the method into practice.

Provo MTC

Here we are at the famous MTC world map.  Deanne is pointing to Italy but my finger kind of wandered and I am pointing to Albania or Hungary or some other country.  There is way too much food, it is like being on a cruise ship.  We are loving the MTC.  Tonight we had a devotional with Elder Stanley Ellis of the Seventy and his wife speaking to us.  Deanne and I sang in the MTC choir
